CoinQuest Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CoinQuest ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CoinQuest is a financial literacy education application designed for K-12 students. The App provides interactive lessons, quizzes, and simulated activities to teach financial concepts. CoinQuest does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or real financial transactions.

3. Age Requirements and Parental Consent

CoinQuest is designed for users ages 5-18. Users under the age of 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before using the App, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child's use of the App.

4. User Accounts

Some features may require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Parents or guardians are responsible for accounts created for minors.

5. Educational Content Disclaimer

All content in CoinQuest is for educational purposes only. The App does not constitute financial advice. Simulated trading activities use virtual currency with no real monetary value. No real money is at risk at any time while using this App.

6. Virtual Currency

CoinQuest uses virtual coins earned through completing lessons and quizzes. These coins have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real currency, and are solely for in-app educational gamification purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, characters (including Copper, Clover, Marco, Aria, Sterling, and Morgan), graphics, and educational materials are the property of Reaves Labs & Learning (RLL) and are protected by copyright law.

8. Prohibited Uses

Reverse engineering or decompiling the App
Using the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to App systems
Distributing or sharing App content without authorization

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children under 13.

10. Limitation of Liability

CoinQuest and RLL are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
